Dr. Cosme Zinsou ODJO is an experienced Lecturer, Researcher, and Training and Skills Development Specialist with over seven years of experience in higher education, applied research, project management, and the design, delivery, and evaluation of education and training programmes. His academic and professional expertise lies at the intersection of Management, Human Resource Development, Labour Economics, Employability, TVET governance, and skills development. He has teaching and academic experience at Kathmandu University, Nepal, where he has contributed to teaching, student supervision, academic assessment, and research activities in areas including Human Resource Development, TVET Administration and Leadership, Public Policy and TVET Governance, Quality Assurance and Programme Evaluation, and Education Theory and Practice. His international academic background, combined with professional experience in education and employment programmes, enables him to bridge theoretical knowledge with practical challenges facing organisations, institutions, and labour markets.
Dr. ODJO has collaborated with national and international institutions and networks, including UNESCO-UNEVOC, the National Employment Agency of Benin (AnpE), SNV, and Erasmus+ networks, where he has contributed to programme coordination, stakeholder engagement, capacity building, project monitoring, reporting, and institutional development. He also has experience in training needs assessment, data collection and analysis, programme evaluation, and the development of innovative and sustainable training initiatives.
He holds a PhD in Governance and Regional Integration, with a specialization in TVET and Youth Employability, a Master’s degree in Education and Training Sciences, specialized in TVET, and advanced degrees in English Language Teaching (TEFL). His multidisciplinary academic background enables him to contribute to teaching and research in Human Resource Management and Development, Project Management, Organisational Management and Leadership, Labour Economics and Employability, Public Policy and Governance, Quality Assurance, and TVET Management.
A French-English bilingual professional, Dr. ODJO is highly proficient in both languages for academic, professional, teaching, research, communication, translation, and facilitation purposes. He is recognized for his analytical mindset, academic rigor, organisational skills, adaptability, and ability to work effectively in multicultural and international environments.
